Consumer Guide to Strollers The Strollers Comfort

The Strollers Comfort

Not all strollers are built alike.

Some models are definitely more comfortable than others.

An umbrella stroller for example, provides little of the padding a conventional stroller does. This style of stroller is not the best choice for extended walks.

Most strollers come with ample padding to help improve your babies comfort. Here are some additional features that may add to your babies comfort:

  • Mesh netting that you can attach to the outside to keep mosquitoes or other insects off your baby during warmer months.
  • Padded harness that helps reduce irritation on your baby's gentle skin.
  • Removable fabric that you can wash and keep fresh for your newborn baby.
  • Look for long straps to accommodate your growing child. Some straps provide extensions. You may even be able to get extensions simply by calling the manufactures. Remember as your toddler grows he or she may outgrow the harness system. This doesn't mean you shouldn't use it, but you do want your child to be comfortable while riding.
