How to Wear a Baby Pack

Not all baby back packs are alike.

Some will let you wear your baby in front of you, while others will let you wear your baby on your back.

There are camping type backpacks and classy ones. How you wear your child really depends on the type of back pack you have.

Most traditional backpacks allow you to place your baby inside by the time they are 6 months old and have enough head support to stabilize themselves. Prior to this you are safer wearing your baby in a front pack or carrier.

The first time you use a backpack you may find it challenging. First you should adjust the straps as much as necessary to make sure you get establish proper fit and comfort. If wearing your baby in a front carrier or sling, place them high on your body to help relieve back discomfort. Be sure your baby's neck and head are well supported if your baby is younger than 6 months. Also be sure you follow the manufacturers instructions and fasten all safety belts, loops and harnesses to keep your child safe and secure. If your baby exceeds the weight limit for a pack or sling, DON'T USE IT! You don't want to put your baby at risk.
