Buying A Pre Used CarseatYou may be tempted to buy a used carseat at a garage sale, but you should use extreme caution if you do so. It is important if you do this you take the car seat and have it safety tested. You don't really know the history of the seat. If it has been in a wreck, it may not be suitable to protect your baby properly if you are in a wreck. Unless you know the owner well or owned another carseat yourself, your best bet is to buy a new seat to ensure your baby's safety and well-being.
