Strut your baby's stuff with umbrella strollers
What do you get when you combine bumbershoots with prams? Umbrella strollers, of course! Not that these strollers come equipped with umbrellas; the moniker comes from the shape of the handles, which are curved like those of a classic umbrella. Most qualify as convenience strollers, since they're easy to fold them up and store just about everywhere. Part of the convenience is that they rarely weigh more than five pounds, and that's a convenience indeed.
No umbrella? Awww!Well, nothing's stopping you from tying an umbrella to your baby's stroller, but it's a fact that the best strollers for babies come with sun protection already in place. If not, then by all means get the baby an umbrella -- or at least one of those goofy umbrella hats. And maybe some baby-sized sunglasses so she looks cool. Oh, and to protect her eyes. A kid with stroller gear like that will surely draw some attention. A big draw for mom and dad, of course, is that this kind of stroller is very easy to travel with.
Is the price a convenience too?It can be. A good umbrella convenience stroller is often a convenient deal, too. Why, you can get a nice sport Kolcraft for as little as $38, or pay a little more for a Teddy Bear Picnic stroller at $40 (thank you, Trout Fishing in America). If you've got economy in mind, it's hard to beat Delta Luv strollers, especially the ones decorated with Spongebob Squarepants pictures. Who lives in a pineapple under the sea...?
